While the oil can undergo further distillation or rectification, it is neither partially nor fully dementholized.
Peppermint oil possesses a potent, penetrating peppermint odor and a sharp, pungent flavor; inhaling air into the mouth after exposure produces a distinct sensation of coolness.

Product Application of Peppermint Oil CAS#8006-90-4
It is well known that Peppermint oil has cooling, cooling, bactericidal, and anti-irritant properties. It is also widely used as a fragrance ingredient. However, Peppermint oil can cause allergic reactions, such as hay fever, skin rashes, and irritation, particularly when the treated area is covered with a dressing.
Peppermint oil is extracted from the leaves of the peppermint plant and contains more than 50% menthol.
