Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC), CAS 1327-41-9, is a high-positive-charge inorganic polymer coagulant. It forms through hydroxide ion bridging and cationic polymerization, available in solid and liquid forms. Solid PAC ranges in color from brown, orange, yellow to white, while liquid variants can be colorless transparent, light yellow, pale yellow or tan. Products Application
Poly Aluminium Chloride delivers powerful electro-neutralization and bridging action for colloids and suspended particles in water. Upon hydrolysis, it triggers a series of physical and chemical reactions including coagulation, adsorption and sedimentation. Compared with conventional inorganic coagulants, PAC features faster floc formation and settling speed, a broader applicable pH range, and causes no corrosion to piping and equipment. It efficiently removes chroma, suspended solids (SS), COD, BOD, together with heavy metal contaminants such as arsenic and mercury from aqueous solutions. As a high-performance water purifying agent, PAC is extensively adopted for municipal water supply & drainage purification, wastewater treatment, industrial liquid recovery and purification, and other relevant fields.
