Combining the hydrophobic nature of heptamethyltrisiloxane and hydrophilic properties of polyoxyethylene, it functions as a surfactant and emulsifier for cosmetics, coatings and textiles. It features outstanding surface activity, good thermal stability and favorable compatibility with organic substrates, and serves as a critical intermediate for silicone‑polyether copolymer synthesis.
