Paritol is a monomeric diterpene compound extracted from the bark of the plant genus Red Bean. Product Applications

Paclitaxel is an anti-tumor drug, which is mainly used to treat metastatic breast cancer and ovarian cancer. It is a broad-spectrum anticancer agent obtained from natural sources, and it is also used in the treatment of other cancers such as ovarian cancer and breast cancer.

This drug binds to the N-terminal region of β-tubulin to promote the formation of very stable microtubules, prevent them from depolymerizing, and also block the cells in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle, thus stopping normal cell division.

As an anti-microtubule agent, Paclitaxel can stabilize tubulin, inhibit mitosis, and can also effectively act on human endothelial cells. IC50 is 0.1 pM.
